Aquatic Programs and Swimming Lessons

Whether you’re new to the pool and want to learn the basics of breath and body position or a fine-tuned athlete looking for technique refinement, the aquatics department at Virtua William G. Rohrer Fitness Center – Voorhees offers members a variety of programs and services. The department offers 3 pools: 25-meter lap pool, group exercise pool, and warm water therapy pool. The department also features an individual men’s and women’s whirlpool/hot tub, located inside each locker room, for your enjoyment and relaxation before or after exercise.

Services available to members include:

• Numerous water-based group exercise classes (see class schedule-redirect)
• Swim lessons for adults
• Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Programming (fee-based program available to non-members)

Services available for children include:

• Swim lessons for children ages 3 years +
• Group swim lessons offered to children at different levels of swim
• Water Babies – parent/child lessons offered to ages 6 months to 1 year
