What safety and sanitation precautions are you taking?

• Additional hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the center, including upon entry.
• Capacity limits will be in place based upon available space.
• Equipment spacing to ensure adherence to social distance.
• Scheduled disinfection of equipment and high touch areas throughout the day.
• Social distance markings to assist with general awareness.
• Signage throughout the center to serve as reminders to wash hands, wipe down equipment, and be mindful of spacing.
• Member screening will be conducted at a single, exclusive entry.

Will the hours of operations be the same?

• We have shortened evening hours now.  We will provide updates when the hours of operation change.
• Monday-Friday: 5 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

What will I need to enter the center?

• Please do not come to the center if you have any symptoms of illness, you will be asked screening questions and have your temperature taken each time you enter. You will not be allowed to enter the center if you have symptoms related to COVID or if you have a temperature of 100 or greater.
• You are required to wear a mask to enter
• Please bring your membership tag/fob (if you need a new one, we will give it to you when you come in the first time) – you will need it to enter AND to EXIT the building. We will be tracking everyone in the center so we will need to know when you enter and when you exit.
• There will be exclusive entrance and exit pathways at the front desk to avoid close contact while entering and exiting.
• We will not be accepting cash or personal checks for payment, please bring a card for payment.

Right now, what will be unavailable at the Center?

• Towels
• Showers (exception, anyone using the pool will be required to shower.  You will need to bring your own towel and toiletries)
• Whirlpools, steam rooms, saunas
• Childcare
• Family Swim
• Water fountains (please bring a water bottle with you, water bottle refill stations will be available)

We will provide continued updates regarding when they will become available.

Will the pools be available when you reopen?

• Yes, the lap pool, exercise pool and therapy pool will be available by reservation only.
• Reservations can be made in person, over the phone by calling (856) 325-5300, or online by visiting our Empower Me Member Self-Service Portal.

Online Instructions:

• Use your member ID number as your username (including hyphen). This can be found on your scan card. On your first time logging in, you will use your member ID for the username and password. It will then prompt you to create a more unique password.
• In your member portal, you will have the ability to scroll down through multiple options including enrolling in UPCOMING CLASSES. Select the CLASS SCHEDULE button. You will then be able to search by date and enroll in a class.
• You may reserve one 45-minute session per day, up to 24 hours in advance
• Once you get to the center, you will need to check in at the front desk
• You will receive a check-in ticket to give to the lifeguard on the pool deck (drop it in a container)
• You will be responsible to get in and out of the pool on time based on your reservation.
• If you will not be able to keep your scheduled time, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible to allow others to use the pools.  You can cancel on-line or call the center.

Showers will only available for people using the pools.

• Per NJ Bathing code you will be required to take a soap and water shower prior to entering the pool.
• Lockers will not be available for use.  Bring a small bag to keep your belongings in and take with you onto the pool deck.
• You will need to bring your own towel and toiletries, as per NJ Guidelines none will be provided at the center.  This includes but is not limited to soap, shampoo, lotion, hair dryer, and wet bag.
• You will also be allowed to shower after getting out of the pool and will be expected to change your clothes in in the shower stall.  Per NJ Guidelines you may not use the locker rooms.  You will not be able to use the vanities for shaving, makeup application or drying your hair.

Will there be Personal Training when you reopen?

• Yes!
• If you are a new client to training, please visit our website and fill out a request form or email lkulnis@virtuafitness.org and we will reach out to get you started.
• If you are a returning client, please contact your trainer directly or email lkulnis@virtuafitness.org if you need assistance.

Will there be Group Exercise classes when you reopen?

• Group exercise classes have resumed!

Will the basketball court be available?

• The court is available. Registration is required.
• In accordance with state guidelines, members will use their own equipment and balls.
• Team, group and pick-up play will be unavailable. 

Will there be water fountains available when you reopen?

• No, water fountains will not be available
• Water bottle refill stations will be available.
• Please bring a refillable water bottle to the center each time that you come.

Are guests permitted to visit the Center?

• Yes, guests are now welcome at the center.

Any of the aforementioned items could be extended or discontinued to meet updated CDC guidelines or state mandates.
