Training for The Reindeer Games by Daniel Smith
This Holiday season get some workout tips from the Reindeer that are tasked with pulling the world’s heaviest sleigh. Comet and Blitzen will get you strong and toned, and Dasher has you covered to get you lean with his special cardio circuit.
Blitzen’s Upper Body Blast
supersets – perform first exercise immediately after first. rest 60 sec and repeat for 3 sets each
1a – push up to pike using sliders – 3 sets x 8 reps
1b – Inverted TRX row – 3 sets x 10 reps
(pro tip: walking your feet in makes it harder, walking your feet out or standing more upright makes it easier)
rest 60 sec. repeat 1a
2a – bicep curl to shoulder press – 3 sets x 10 reps
2b – band tricep kickbacks – 3 sets x 12 reps
rest 60 sec. repeat 2a
3a – Russian twists – 3 sets x 12 reps each side
3b – reverse crunches (knees to chest) – 3 sets x 12 reps
rest 60 sec. repeat 3a
